Some thoughts about ecological food

Many vegans may not realize what ecological agriculture actually means. I know I wasn’t fully aware of what is considered ‘ecological’ (or ‘organic’).

Apparently, most farmers use crushed animal bones to fertilize their crops. When confronted about it they claim ‘that they’re following the law’. Well, I assumed you could take that for granted.

A while back I read about something called veganic crops. It sounded interesting, so I decided to find out more about it. According to this site, veganic means agriculture completely free of animal exploitation.

I’d love it if all agriculture wasn’t just ‘ecological’ or ‘organic’ but veganic.
